The Indigenous Student Centre is the home-away-from-home for First Nations, Inuit and Métis students. The Centre provides a culturally supportive environment that promotes academic excellence and supports the intellectual, spiritual, emotional and physical development of all Indigenous students. We're here for you! Supports include:

Indigenous Student Advising

The Indigenous Student Advisor is here to support Indigenous undergraduate, graduate and diploma students throughout your learning journey here at the University of Guelph. First Nations, Inuit and Métis students can connect with the Indigenous Student Advisor virtually or in-person at the Indigenous Student Centre.

The Indigenous Student Centre (ISC) strives to foster a community of support for First Nations, Inuit and Métis students based on Indigenous kinship. The Centre engages people from a variety of Indigenous cultures and worldviews to create a diverse, inclusive and holistic community.

Throughout the fall and winter semesters, ISC hosts a range of activities and events open to the campus community including socials, Orange Shirt Day, Learning Circles and workshops, movie screenings, visiting Elders and Knowledge Holders and Indigenous Recognition Week.
